Mega Camp 2025 Details

Mega Camp 2025 is a 2-day youth skills camp run entirely by former Division I softball players.


THIS IS A 2-DAY EVENT! Please plan on your participant(s) being present for both days of Mega Camp 2025.


SESSION I – Classes of 2030-2033

WHEN: July 26-27, 2025, 8:00AM–12:00PM. Check-in will begin 30 minutes before the session begins.

WHERE: Eagle River Lion’s Park (Knik Little League Fields) - 18344 Eagle River Rd, Eagle River, AK 99577

WHAT TO WEAR: Each participant is required to bring their own glove, helmet with a mask, and bat. Catchers are required to bring their own catcher’s gear. Participants missing any of these items may be unable to participate in certain drills. Fielding masks are encouraged for players who prefer to wear them. Please bring enough water for the entire 4-hour session. Regardless of the skills being practiced each day, participants should be prepared with all of their gear as programming may change without notice.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Mega Camp 2025 programming will consist of a warmup each day, various defensive and offensive rotations, and opportunities for participants to implement their new skills. In addition to hitting and base running, participants will rotate through three defensive positions of their choosing.


SESSION II – Classes of 2025*–2029

*At this time, class of 2025 participants must have a current commitment to a school to play college softball this upcoming fall.

  • Is this event affiliated with Stanford University or Stanford softball?

No. This event is independent of Stanford University and Stanford softball. Our brand does not represent the thoughts or ideals of either of the aforementioned parties.

  • Is this a recruiting event?

No, this is not a recruiting event. This event is being facilitated with the sole purpose of promoting youth softball development in Alaska and to provide resources to which local players would not otherwise have access to without travel out of state. No current college coaches will be present. The former college athletes coaching this event will not be permitted to influence players of recruiting age in regards to prospective schools, nor be in communication with any college coaches about players they interacted with at Mega Camp 2025.

  • My daughter has never played softball before. Can she attend?

    We encourage anyone within the eligible graduation years with an interest in playing softball to attend Mega Camp 2025!

  • Can my son who plays baseball attend?

    While he is welcome to attend, please keep in mind that this event is specifically tailored to the coaching and development of youth softball players.



WAITLIST

If an opening becomes available, we will automatically notify the first person on the waitlist via email. That person will have 24 hours to respond and complete their registration. If we do not receive a response within that timeframe, the next person on the waitlist will be contacted, and we will continue down the list until the spot is filled.



REFUND POLICY

All registrations for Mega Camp 2025 are subject to a 20% non-refundable administration fee. This fee covers administrative costs and ensures the continued success of our event.

Refunds will only be available up to 14 days before the start of the event. After this period, refunds will not be issued. If you need to request a refund before the 14-day deadline, please contact us at info@laurenfrostsoftball.com. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. If the event is lost due to weather or any Act of God the entry fee will be refunded via check minus a 20% administration fee.

Financial assistance is available upon request.
